On the day of your examination, you will need to present identification in order to be admitted into the testing center. Acceptable identification has your full name, signature, and photograph. In some locations, there may be additional identification requirements, so be sure to check with your testing center before the exam. All of the supplies you will need on the exam will be provided. You will not be allowed to bring anything into the testing area. You will be given scratch paper and a pencil for making notes and performing calculations. There is one exception to this rule: if you are taking the paper-based version of the exam, you should bring a couple of #2 pencils and an eraser with you. If you are taking the computer-based version, you do not need to bring anything, although you will be asked to sign a confidentiality agreement before and after the test. Absolutely no cell phones or other electronic devices are allowed in the testing area. Anyone caught with these items or discovered communicating with other test takers or anyone outside the testing area will be subject to immediate expulsion. There will be breaks in between the sections of the exam, during which you will be able to eat a snack and use the restroom. If you have a question during the exam, raise your hand and wait for an exam proctor to assist you.
